FAO – Fachanwaltsordnung (Regulations for Attorneys specialised in certain areas of law)

RVG – Rechtsanwaltsvergütungsgesetz (Lawyers‘ Remuneration Act)

EuRAG - Gesetz über die Tätigkeit europäischer Rechtsanwälte in Deutschland (Act Regulating the Activity of European Lawyers in German)

4. Professional indemnity insurance

Lawyers are obliged according to Section 51 Bundesrechtsanwaltsordnung, to maintain professional indemnity insurance. Our professional indemnity insurance is maintained with HDI Versicherung AG, 30650 Hannover, whereas there is no coverage for indemnity of claims being based on other than German law if such claims are enforced by legal action before US courts.
